Matagamasi Lake to Kukagami Lake

The next morning was heavy fog.  Fortunately the GPS units can still navigate.  Still I was happy when the fog lifted.

It was an uneventful day as we continued down the small lakes connecting the two parts of the route.

Small water means several portages and often more rugged portges.
Lots of rocks and glacier rubble make landing and launching a canoe difficult.
We finally break out into the more open water of Matamagasi Lake.
Our camp for the night was crowded but as usual we managed to pitch all the tents.

Bill, Bob, and Mike enjoy some conversation passing the time in camp.
