We used Endless Mountains Outfitter to rent canoes and provide shuttle service.

They drove us upstream to Holbrook Park to put in.

It was a cloudy blustery day when we started.

We stopped for lunch on a gravel bar

Our first night camp at Reverside View Campground just downstream from Wysox.

Nice open camping on the grass..

The camp was just across from Rt. 6

I asked Greg to bring a camp stove to heat up some green beans.  This is what I got instead.

It was still cold and rainey as evening set in.

But as promised the weather was sunny and warm the next morning.

Sunshine is having a sunshine day.

Sometimes we just raft up and float downsteam.

Greg and Hans paddle downstream.

STANDING STONE, "ACHSIN-NINK"
Standing Stone, or "Achsin-Nink," the name given by the Indians to this remarkable stone which stands in the Susquehanna River. From its top to the river bed it measures 44 feet. It is 16 feet wide and four feet thick. Early settlers told of finding covered with Indian drawings. In 1779, General John Sullivan and one-third of the American army marched through Bradford County. He ordered that a shot from the morning gun be fired at the stone. This shot blew off the uppermost corner.

 We stopped EMO for lunch

 Mike and Bill continue downstream.

We pulled into the Endless Mountains Campground just upstream from the Lacyville Bridge.

The camp area was spacious.

The Next morning was sunny and warm.n

We found the take out at the Meshoppen boat launch.

We called EMO to pick us up and drive us back to the cars.
