| First day out skied Beaver Creek. This is the top of Larkspur Bowl looking toward Spruce Saddle. The first day out was harsh with high winds and cold conditions. |  |

| Skied the second day with Peg. Went over to Arrowhead. Truly blue heaven over there. |  |

In the afternoon Dave and Steve got me on the Bird of Prey Downhill. At the time I said I was going to give up skiing western double diamond slopes. Getting old and all that stuff. I've since changed my mind. |
