Started the morning with a tour of Prague Castle. |

St. Vitas Cathedral |
Inside the Cathedral looking toward the alter. |

|
The tour ended with a walk through the Jewish Quarter back
to the Old Town Square. From there we walked a mile or so through
the Old Town to Charles Bridge. Charles Bridge is a stone Gothic bridge
that connects the Old Town and Malá Strana. Its construction was
commissioned by Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor Charles
IV and began in 1357. Now it supports a lively street
fare. |
A couple of Prague Chicks on the bridge. |
|
|
We had lunch in a lovely cafe off the bridge but along the
water. |
That evening we went to a concert and stopped in the Imperial Cafe for coffee
and dessert. The Cafe Imperial is a beautiful art deco cafe
decorated in tile as can be seen in the pictures.

Donuts left from the previous day are available to throw at
other customers, on the proviso that you are an adult and NOT inebriated!
Shortly after we arrive the donuts started flying. Grab your coffee
cup and duck. A fun place but not for the faint of heat. |
